So, say you are writing an profile/description of yourself, sort of like when you apply for a roommate or something to that effect. While describing your interests, you want to mention that you are kind of a nerd. You like Doctor Who and Sherlock and Supernatural and any kind of comics and art and science and stuff like that. Nerd culture, in general.
While this makes sense to people on the in, this application goes to someone who might be confused by that language. SO, How would you phrase this in that kind of application? Would you just say, “I’m kind of a nerd”? “I have nerdy interests, such as…”? Do you just say the shows that you like?
tl;dr you’re a nerd— how do you phrase that in normal society?!
